Drought SBA Loans

 

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced on Nov. 29, 2023, that federal Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) are available in Alabama for small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private nonprofit organizations with economic losses due to the drought that began Nov. 14.The declaration includes Bibb, Calhoun, Chilton, Etowah, Greene, Hale, Shelby, St. Clair, and Talladega counties; and the contiguous counties of: Autauga, Blount, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Dekalb, Elmore, Jefferson, Marengo, Marshall, Perry, Pickens, Sumter, and Tuscaloosa in Alabama.
