Greetings Jefferson County Sewer Customers,
In an effort to provide efficient, transparent, effective,and reliable sewer billing services to the people of Jefferson County we wantedto let you know about a long overdue change in our billing system.
Coming this winter, we are implementing new software thatwill allow you to pay online, message us, view a history of billing and muchmore. In addition, the new software providesmonthly sewer bills that are easily readable with information to assist you inunderstanding the billing process.
Listedare several changes that you will notice on your first bill:
· Your account number will change to 13-digits. Thisnumber includes your location and customer information that is obtained fromyour water provider.
· A breakdown on calculating your sewer bill perwater usage.
· A monthly consumption grid to compare yourmonthly usage.
We will also introduce a NEW Customer Portal where you canmanage, research, and pay your account with ease each month. Included within the portal are features to aideyou with contacting a Customer Service Representative within our office.
We are excited about these new improvements that will allow usto serve you better! As the date for implementationof the new billing software gets closer, expect to receive additionalinformation regarding the dynamic features of our new billing system.
