Free Memory Screeing

Free confidential memory screenings will be available to those who make an appointment by calling. Melanie Hand at 848-7399. It's a simple and safe "healthy brain check-up" that tests memory and other thinking skills. This program is provided in conjunction with the National Memory Screening Program by the Alzheimer's Foundation of America and the Senior Services Division of Jefferson County. Each screening takes approximately 15 minutes, and while the result is not a diagnosis, it can suggest if someone should see a physician for a full evaluation.
