NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Jefferson County Planning and Zoning Commission will hear comments from the public regarding a proposed new ordinance regulating the placement of telecommunication facilities in unincorporated Jefferson County and repeal of the existing Section 706 Telecommunication Tower District, a proposed new ordinance establishing  procedures for a Special Use Permit, and revisions to Schedule of Fees and Definitions as related thereto.

This hearing will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 9, 2015, in the Commission Chambers, Room 270, on the Second Floor of the Jefferson County Courthouse in Birmingham, Alabama, prior to the hearing of the scheduled cases. Written comments are invited, but should be received in Land Development no later than Wednesday, April 8, 2015, to ensure consideration by the Commission.
